Project to develop a competency profile for nurses and midwives: promoting the mental health and well-being of children and young people

In 2009, NIPEC was commissioned by the Chief Nursing Officer DHSSPS to develop a competency Profile for nurses and midwives: promoting the mental health and well-being of children and young people. Click to view the Competency Profile and Project Report.

An Expert Reference Group was established representative of all 4 Tiers of CAMHS, across HSC Trusts and included carers and the 3rd sector.
