The NIPEC Headquarters is located in the middle in the middle of Belfast City Centre, just one minutes walk from one of the city's main shopping areas, and opposite the new Victoria Square retail development.

Northern Ireland has two airports - Belfast City Airport and Belfast International Airport. The City Airport is approximately 15/20 minutes away by car. Translink provide a coach service to bring passengers into the City Centre every 40 minutes. Belfast International Airport is situated 18 miles outside Belfast. There is an Airbus service available which operates between the airport and Belfast City Centre every 30 minutes (weekdays). Taxis are available at both Airports together with care hire facilities.

Public transport, is the easiest way to move around the city, with Ulsterbus, The Metro and NI Railways. the governing boy for these public transport services is called Translink, and they may be contacted on 028 9066 6630 for general enquiries. Timetables are available for download from their website. Ulsterbus have two main bus centres - Laganside and the Europa Bus Centre, both approx. 10 minutes walk from NIPEC. The Ulsterbus Enquiry line is 028 9032 0011. The Metro has 12 high-frequency corridors along main arterial roads in and out of Belfast City Centre with additional services operating throughout the Greater Belfast. These buses leave from the City hall on a regular basis (approx 5 minutes walk from NIPEC).
