Within its remit to improve the quality of health and care through supporting the practice, education and professional development of nurses and midwives, working in collaboration with service and education organisations, NIPEC leads and manages a wide range of projects and initiatives. Such activities form a key part of NIPEC's business and make a positive contribution to the ongoing developments in nursing and midwifery practice and education in Northern Ireland, with a strong focus on improving the competence of nurses and midwives.
