Professionalism in Nursing and Midwifery

NIPEC hosted a workshop with senior nurses and midwives in Northern Ireland on Wednesday 29th February 2012. The purpose of this workshop was to take account of the views of colleagues to assist the scoping and shaping of future  work. A paper has been developed as a result of this workshop and has been presented to the Acting Chief Nursing Officer, DHSSPS, Director of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, PHA, Executive Directors of Nursing, HSC Trusts and Heads of School, Higher Education Institutions.  We hope to progress a number of workstreams in the area of professionalism during 2012.
